What I Do

My role is to use my personal experience of mental health issues to help others. I have a background in support work and employability services. I am passionate about helping people access the wealth of support and leisure groups across their community.

How I Support Patients

I work with anyone aged 18 or older with mental health issues to improve their wellbeing by connecting them with local community groups, or facilitate new groups if there is a specific interest.

After an initial telephone call to confirm personal details and get to know each other, we can accompany people to their first group session to help them feel at ease. We are a friendly and supportive group who will always listen and respond to the needs of the people we work with.

Get in touch

We take self-referrals via our online form or by email to [email protected], or from any member of staff at a GP practice.
