Park Medical Group – Summer Update
Dear Patients,
We would like to share some important updates and improvements taking place across the practice.
Welcome to Our New Practice Manager

We are delighted to introduce Lynne Dodgson as our new Practice Manager.
Lynne brings a wealth of experience, particularly with our new computer system. She has quickly made a positive impact and is already helping to implement several improvements to enhance both patient care and practice efficiency.

Our previous Practice Manager, Trudi Harrison, has transitioned into a new role as Strategic Business Manager. This change reflects Trudi’s extensive experience and allows her to focus on wider strategic development of the practice, alongside accommodating her family commitments. We are pleased she will continue to support the practice in this important capacity.
New Self‑Referral Pilot for Chest X‑Rays (CXR)
We are pleased to be taking part in a new pilot scheme which enables patients to self-refer for a chest X-ray (CXR) in appropriate circumstances.
This service aims to improve access and speed up investigations where clinically appropriate.

(Please note: eligibility criteria apply – further details are available at the link above.)
Friends & Family Test – Your Feedback Matters
We have introduced a new Friends and Family Test and would really value your feedback about the care you receive.
You can complete the survey online:
Paper copies are also available at reception if you would prefer to complete the form in person.
Your feedback helps us understand what we are doing well and where we can continue to improve.
Fawdon Site Improvements
We would like to reassure patients that we are still planning to carry out improvements at the Fawdon site later this year.
Further updates will be shared as plans progress, and we appreciate your patience while this work is being organised.
Help with the NHS App
We are sorry that some patients continue to experience difficulties with the NHS app since our IT system switchover.
The link below takes you to a help hub to troubleshoot any ongoing issues and you can even book a support session (provided through our PCN) for a one-to-one session to help you work out any issues.

Thank You
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation as we work to maintain and improve our services.
Warm regards,
Park Medical Group
